What makes the earth look blue?
All the water on it
What makes Venus so hot?
All the carbon dioxide on it
What makes Mars look red?
Mars has lots of iron on it.
All this iron content makes Mars look red.
Monday is named after the moon.
Sunday is named after the Sun.
The fifth planet of the Solar System is Jupiter.
It is the largest of the eight planet.
Thursday is named after Jupiter.
Jupiter is the god of the sky.
The sixth planet of the Solar System is Saturn.
Saturday is named after Saturn.
Saturn is the god of farming.
The seventh planet of the Solar System is Uranus.
Uranus is the god of heaven.
Saturn is the second largest planet.
Neptune is the eighth planet of the Solar System.
Neptune is the god of rain in Roman mythology.
Till 14 years ago, there used to be nine planets in the Solar System.
The ninth planet was called Pluto.
Pluto is the god of hell.
Scientists felt Pluto was too small, so in 2006 they removed it from the list of planets.
Now, Pluto is called a dwarf planet.

So you weigh more on them.
Smaller planets have less gravity.
Gravity means attraction.
Attraction due to size
You will weigh about 3 times more on Jupiter.
And about 30 times more on the Sun.
On the moon, your weight will be a sixth of what it is here.
On Pluto it will be 45/11.
Time also varies on different planets.
Your year is made of 365 days.
Mercury's year is made of 88 days.
Venus's year is made of 225 days.
Mars's year has about 700 days.
On Jupiter, you will have to wait for 12 years to get your birthday again.
On Saturn, it becomes 29 years.
On Uranus, 90 years.
On Neptune, 170 years.
On Pluto, 250 years.

Jupiter has 79 moons.
Saturn has 82 moons.
Uranus has 27 moons.
Neptune has 14 moons.
Pluto has 5 moons.
Mars has 2 moons.
Mercury and Venus have no moons.
