mattaḥ smṛtir jñāna mapō hanaṁ ca

vēdaiśca sarvai raha mēva vēdyaḥ

vēdānta kṛd vēdavidēva cāham (15)


dvā vimau puruṣau lōkē

kṣaraś cāk ṣara ēva ca

kṣaraḥ sarvāṇi bhūtāni

kūṭasthō 'kṣara ucyatē (16)


uttamaḥ puruśa stvanyaḥ

paramātmēt yudā hṛtaḥ 

yō lōka traya māviśya

bibhartya vyaya īśvaraḥ (17)


yasmāt kśara matī tō'ham

akśarādapi cōttamaḥ

atō'smi lōkē vēdē ca

prathitaḥ puruśōttamaḥ (18)
