uttamaḥ puruśa stvanyaḥ

paramātmēt yudā hṛtaḥ 

yō lōka traya māviśya

bibhartya vyaya īśvaraḥ

yasmāt kśara matī tō'ham

akśarādapi cōttamaḥ

atō'smi lōkē vēdē ca

prathitaḥ puruśōttamaḥ

yō māmēva masam mūḍhaḥ

jānāti puruśōttamam

sa sarva vid bhajati mām

sarva bhāvēna bhārata

iti guhyatamaṁ śāstram

ida muktaṁ mayā 'nagha

ētad buddhvā buddhi mān syāt

kṛta kṛtyaś ca bhārata
