In 1947, the British divided India into 2 parts.
As India and Pakistan
India as you see in the map now
And Pakistan was created in two parts
One in the east of India and one in the west of India
These two parts stayed together for some time
but then they had a fight on language issue (Urdu versus Bengali)
In 1971, there was a war between the two parts of Pakistan
In this war India supported east Pakistan
And east Pakistan became a new country with the name Bangladesh
