S: Do you sometimes sit alone and talk to yourself? Does anyone sit alone and talk to himself? No. Talking happens only when there are at least two people. We say something only if there is someone to listen to. Now, why do we speak? What is the purpose of speaking? The purpose of speaking can be in four ways. One, you will say something if you want to TELL someone something. Two, you may say something if you want to ASK someone something. Three, you may say something if you want to give a COMMAND or make a REQUEST. Four, you may say something if you want to EXPRESS your FEELINGS. So, when you say "I am a student", you are TELLING something. When you say "Who are you?" you are ASKING something. When you say "Stand up" you are giving a command. When you say "Excuse me" you are making a request. When you say "What a beautiful flower!" you are expressing your feeling (excitement). These ar...

S: From Me to Everyone:   06:34 PM Movement is of two types. One is linear movement. The other is rotational movement. Linear movement is measured using a ruler. mm, cm, m, km, inch, foot, yard, mile are all units of linear movement or distance. Rotational movement is not called distance. It is called the angle of rotation. Rotational movement or angle is measured in degrees or radians. You will know about radians in higher classes. For now, you will study angles in degrees. Your protractor shows 0 degrees to 180 degrees. You can draw any angle you want to. With the help of the protractor. The dot you put is called a point in mathematics. A point is named using a capital letter of the English alphabet. AB is a line segment. Line is endless. It has neither a beginning, nor an end. It is infinite. But a line segment has both ends marked. Right now, you see a line segment. Its ends are A and B. From Me to Everyone:  08:27 PM ...
